Lung cancer screening set for Riverhead

The Peconic Bay Medical Center Cancer Survivorship and Outreach Team is sponsoring a No Cost Lung Cancer Screening for the East End Community this Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the First Baptist Church in Riverhead.

Lung cancer leads to 20 percent of all the cancer deaths in the United States — more than breast cancer, colorectal and prostate cancer combined.

We will be providing free Lung Cancer Screening (including CT scans vouchers), Blood Pressure Screening, Smoking Cessation Counseling and access to the free services of the Cancer Services Program which provides no cost colorectal, Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening for the uninsured of the community.

All are welcome whether they have insurance or not!
