RIVERHEAD, NY — The search is on for a chain rich in sentimental value that was lost Thursday night in Riverhead.
According to representatives from the Riverhead Little League organization, the chain was worn by a former Little Leaguer, 14, who was attending a varsity softball game, to support the team.
The teen "lost a very special necklace at Stotzky Park last night during the varsity softball senior game," the Riverhead Little League said. "The necklace belonged to his dad when he was a teenager and holds a tremendous amount of sentimental value to their family."
