Illegal Massages At Nassau County Spa, 1 Woman In ICE Custody: PD

OCEANSIDE, NY — An undercover investigation determined illegal massages were being conducted at an Oceanside spa, police said.

Two Queens women were arrested on Aug. 12 at 3:09 p.m. in Oceanside after police discovered illegal massages were being conducted at Angel's Healing Spa on Merrick Road, Nassau County police said.

The two women were charged with unauthorized practicing of a profession, and were issued appearance tickets returnable to First District Court in Hempstead, police said.

According to police, one woman was illegally in the U.S. and is subject to removal proceedings – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agents (ICE) took her into custody.
