HEMPSTEAD, NY — Police are requesting the public's help Wednesday morning in the ongoing search for a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing from her West Hempstead home Tuesday night, police said. Nassau County police said 15-year-old Amerie Guerrier was last seen in West Hempstead, describing Guerrier as a black girl who stands 5-feet, 2-inches and weighs 125 lbs. Police said Guerrier has black hair and brown eyes, with unknown clothing and destination. Wednesday morning, police have requested anyone with information about Guerrier's whereabouts contact missing persons at 516-573-7347 or call 911.
