Brookhaven Town Garbage Pickup To Resume Monday Schedule: Supervisor

FARMINGVILLE, NY — The Town of Brookhaven's garbage collection schedule will resume on Monday, Supervisor Dan Panico said in a Facebook post.

Carters will be out collecting on roads that are safely accessible, he said.

"Due to coastal flooding and tidal conditions, some low-lying coastal roads may be temporarily impassable at the time of collection," he continued. "If a truck cannot safely access a road because of flooding, collection may be delayed until conditions allow."
