Port Promenade Returns to Main Street This Summer
Port Washington’s popular summer street festival, Port Promenade, returns to Main Street for two Thursday evenings this summer — June 18 and July 16, 2026 — from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. each night. On June 18, Main Street will be closed from Library Drive to Central Drive. On July 16, the event will move to Upper Main Street, with closures from Port Washington Boulevard to Mackey Avenue.
The car-free, family-friendly event will feature live music, outdoor dining, shopping, and activities for all ages. Attendees are encouraged to check the Try Port First app for updates, entertainment schedules, and event details.
Port Promenade is co-hosted by the Port Washington BID, Port Washington Chamber of Commerce, and Landmark on Main Street, with support from the Town of North Hempstead and the Port Washington Police Department. Port Washington BID and Precision Work, Inc. are the event sponsors.
