VIDEO: Police Seek Group After Blue Point Beach Shack Vandalism
Police are asking for help identifying multiple people after property was damaged and keys were stolen from a Blue Point beach business.

BLUE POINT, NY — Suffolk County police are asking for the public’s help identifying multiple people accused of damaging and stealing property from a Blue Point beach business.
A group of males damaged a golf cart, knocked down a fence and stole keys from Bodhi’s Beach Shack, located at Corey Beach, at about 3 a.m. July 5, Suffolk police Fifth Precinct officers said.
Surveillance images released in connection with the investigation show several people in the area around the time of the incident.

Beach Side Sweets, a nearby business, also shared surveillance footage on social media, writing that the individuals tried to break in, jumped on the hood and roof of a parked car and damaged the vehicle’s hood and roof.

Police did not provide details on the additional damage described in the social media post.
