St. James Man Kicked In Door, Assaulted Family Member: Police

ST. JAMES, NY — A St. James man was arrested after police said he kicked in a door at a Northern Boulevard residence Thursday morning and assaulted a woman who was his family member.

Daniel Spector, 42, of St. James, kicked in the door at about 6:30 a.m. and assaulted the woman, Suffolk County police said.

The woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Spector was charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing, police said.
