Friday Matinee: Wicked Little Letters

Wicked Little Letters is a dark comedy mystery that shows that true life stories may indeed be “stranger than fiction.”  In a 1920s English seaside town, the people – including conservative local Edith Swan – begin receiving wicked letters filled with hilarious profanities. Rose Gooding, a rowdy Irish migrant, is charged with the crime.  However, the women of the town begin to suspect that something is amiss and begin to investigate the crime themselves.  Is it possible that Rose may not be the culprit after all?  Starring Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Anjana Vasan, and Timothy Spall.
