Woman Killed In NYC Hit-And-Run Crash, Driver Still At Large

SUNSET PARK, NY — Police continue to search for a hit-and-run driver that killed a 28-year-old woman over the weekend.
The incident happened on Saturday, Aug. 29, at the intersection of 55th Street and Third Avenue.
The 28-year-old woman was walking in the crosswalk when she was struck by a Cadillac traveling south on Third Avenue.

She was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver did not remain on the scene.
