5 Mile Free Walk on Governors Island With Marilyn Walks Manhattan

Marilyn Menick, a 77 year old grandmother from the Upper East Side, is finishing her 2 1/2 year journey walking all of Manhattan (including Randall's/Wards, Roosevelt, Liberty, Ellis and Governors Islands). That's 630 miles, block by block! You are invited to share in the finale festivities and join Marilyn and her family and friends for a weekend of free walks in Central Park and Governors Island along with pay your own way social meetups on the weekend of April 18-19th, 2026.
