More Than 60 Stalls To Fill An Upper West Side Block For Annual Yard Sale
The West 104th Street sale returns this weekend with secondhand finds, live music, books and a silent auction.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — One Upper West Side block will turn into an open-air treasure hunt Saturday when the West 104th Street Annual Yard Sale returns.
The free event, hosted by the West 104th Street Block Association, will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on West 104th Street between West End Avenue and Riverside Drive.
Organizers say shoppers can browse more than 60 stalls of secondhand goods, along with a book sale featuring everything from novels and children’s books to cookbooks and CDs.

A silent auction will offer gift certificates, antiques, vintage collectibles, artwork, theater tickets and other items.
The day will also include live music, a bake sale, a raffle and a “What-A-Bargain” section for inexpensive finds.

The event, which has been a tradition on the street for 36 years, raises money for the Block Association, which uses the funds for the block security guard as well as beautification projects, like spring plantings and tree pruning.
