Stabbing Leaves Man In Critical Condition On The UWS, Police Say

Police said that no arrests have been made yet.

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, NY — A 57-year-old man is in critical condition after a stabbing in Morningside Heights early Monday, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the victim was near West 112th Street and Broadway when an assailant stabbed him in the stomach at 2 a.m.

The victim then took a downtown train one stop from the West 110th Street subway station to West 96th Street, where he flagged down a police officer for help, officials said.

Police rushed the victim to Mount Sinai West, where he is in critical condition, police said.

Police said that no arrests have been made yet, but that the investigation is underway.
