Multi-Car Crash Shuts Wantagh Pkwy. At Southern State: Police
One person suffered a minor injury in the accident that impacted six cars, state police said.
WANTAGH, NY — Multiple lanes were blocked on the Wantagh Parkway from a six-car crash on Friday afternoon.
One person suffered a minor laceration, according to the New York State Police.
The accident happened southbound near the approach for the Southern State Parkway (Exit W4).

The highway reopened a short time later, police said.
