SEAFORD, NY — Monday was signing day for two dozen seniors, as Seaford High School celebrated the 24 students who committed to play sports in college.

The ceremony took place in the Seaford High School gym, with a chair for each athlete decorated with their future schools’ colors. In the ceremony, physical education, health and athletics director Kevin Witt lauded the students for their efforts thus far in high school, and encouraged them to bring their best to college.

“Remember what you learned here — know that putting your best foot forward and working as hard as you can is going to lead you in the right direction,” Witt said. “You have a great support system, so depend on that. I’m very confident you’re all going to land in a very good spot.”
