East Quogue Man Arrested, Charged With DWI, After Leaving Scene Of Crash In Hampton Bays: Police
He was arrested early Tuesday, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — An East Quogue man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after leaving the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Hampton Bays early Tuesday, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, at about 12:15 p.m., a call came in about a crash with property damage on East Tiana Road and Corwin Lane, where one of the drivers fled the scene.
The vehicle that fled was later located by responding officers on Yale Drive in Hampton Bays, police said.

After a subsequent investigation, the driver, Matthew Buckley, 45, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor DWI and leaving the scene of a crash, a traffic violation, police said.
He was processed and held for morning arraignment, police said.
