Man Charged With Felony DWI After Hampton Bays Crash: Police
The crash took place early Monday, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A man was arrested and charged with felony driving while intoxicated after a crash in Hampton Bays early Monday, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, the crash took place at about 2:29 a.m. on Ponquogue Avenue near Maryland Boulevard.
An investigation by patrol officers determined that Wilian Lopez-Garcia, 35, was intoxicated by alcohol, police said.

Lopez-Garcia was subsequently arrested and charged with felony DWI, police said.
He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and held for morning arraignment; ne injuries were reported, police said.
