The voters decided on the $202,072,582 Lakeland schools budget and which candidates will serve on the board of education.
SHRUB OAK, NY — The ballots are in and voters have decided on the 2026 budget and school board.
Here are the unofficial results.
The budget of$202,072,582 for the 2026–2027 school year, which represents a 2.62 percent increase over the last school year, was passed 1029 to 604. A bus bond was also passed 1044 to 578

James Hedberg, Keith Baisley and Amanda Franco were elected to the board of education
The Board of Education will meet at their regular meeting on May 28, to certify the results.
