Victim Of Deadly Single-Car Crash Identified As 85-Year-Old Somers Man
A 2013 Honda, driven by the victim, who was the only one in the car, left the roadway and struck a tree, according to investigators.

SOMERS, NY — New York State Police have identified the man killed in a single-car crash today.
Just after 11:30 a.m., troopers in Somers responded to a report of a one-car motor vehicle collision at Warren Street and West Hill Drive, in Somers.
An initial investigation by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Somers found that a 2013 Honda, driven by 85-year-old Gerard M. McKenna, of Somers, was traveling east on West Hill Drive, toward Warren Street, when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

McKenna, the only occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing, according to the BCI.
