Turning Jane is a four-piece independent and self powered rock band from Los Angeles redefining modern rock for a new generation. Self-described as “Hot Girl Rock,” they fuse classic rock riffs, punk attitude, and undeniable pop hooks into a sound built for a young, insatiable audience. At its core, Turning Jane is about friendship, freedom, and carving your identity in a world that constantly tries to define it for you. Before industry co-signs or headline slots, the band was cutting their teeth in dive bars they weren’t old enough to enter, earning real fans the hard way and commanding every room they stepped into. Since bursting onto the scene on Halloween 2023, opening for The Criticals, this powerhouse quartet, fronted by the magnetic Kameron Jane, alongside riff-master Diego Vargas on guitar, Alex Shipley on bass, Lily Carone on keys, and Ryan Greene holding down the heavy beats,&nbsp;has been tearing up stages and turning heads.
Fresh off the Valentine’s Day release of their killer debut EP, F***, Marry, Kill, the band brings massive, arena-level energy into the intimate setting of The Brightside. Expect a theatrical, high-octane experience complete with haunting fog, dramatic lighting, and perfectly choreographed moments. From the female-empowerment anthem "Gun in A Church" to the dark, vengeful hooks of "The Hand that Feeds You," they’ll have the entire crowd headbanging, dancing, and singing along.

Step back to 1970 and experience the raw, electrifying energy of Joe Cocker's legendary Mad Dogs &amp; Englishmen Tour brought to life by some of Dayton's finest musicians.
Local powerhouse vocalist Matt Byanski leads this massive ensemble through the classic songs from the Deluxe soundtrack that accompanied the iconic 1971 concert film. Covering the invaluable role of the great Leon Russell, veteran Dayton rockers Nick Mitchell and Jimmy Rogers bring decades of stage experience to the guitar and keys.
True to the spirit of the original tour, this show goes big — featuring a 10-piece choir led by Sharon Lane, Kat Givens, Khrys Blank, and Vicki Brown alongside a roster of talented local singers. And just like Cocker's famous lineup, the band rolls with dual kit drummers Josh Johnson and Steve Phelps, anchored by percussionist Erich Reith.
This is more than a tribute. It's a full-scale revival of one of rock's greatest live moments, performed by a community of musicians who live for this music.
He's gonna need a little help from his friends — and they showed up.
