Small Gardening for You and Your Child

“Small Gardening for You and Your Child is a hands-on-Earth Care Festival, April 25, 2026, Noon to 4 pm on the lawn at 9994 Zig Zag Road, Montgomery, Ohio.

Admission is free, open to the public with no registration. There will be interactive activities for children and families -planting seeds, learning how to grow food, and composting. We are preparing 50 pots for children to “plant.” The children can enjoy face painting and visit with rabbits, goats and maybe chickens. Booths will present information on gardening and pollinators. As always, there will be free ice cream and a bake sale in addition to a tree giveaway. In case of rain, the event will move into the auditorium. The event is hosted by the Evergreen Presbyterian Church in conjunction with Volunteer Master Gardeners.
