Yearning for Camelot

I yearn for the days of Camelot,

where Elysian Fields abound,

filled with blooms

of hopes and dreams.

Ruled by a gracious King,

who sits upon a spartan throne,

with thoughts of others

not of him alone.

By his side sits Camelot’s Queen.

Graceful and inspiring.

Together they reign

over Camelot.

A pretender sits

upon a gilded throne

with thoughts of gold

and gold alone.

But in Camelot

sits our King,

with thoughts of Camelot.

Camelot alone!
