Lincoln High School Alum Selected For Television Academy Foundation Internship in Hollywood

Lincoln High School alumna Erin Dornan has been selected for the prestigious Television Academy Foundation Internship program. She is one of 40 students chosen by Television Academy members from across the country for the 2026 Summer Internship program. The Foundation offers paid internships at top Hollywood studios and production companies annually to college students nationwide.

Dornan is a rising senior at New York University majoring in film and television production. She will be a music intern this summer at Music Box Studios in Los Angeles through the Foundation’s program.

“Being selected for this internship is a dream,” said Dornan. “It feels very motivating to be recognized by professionals whose work I deeply admire.

“I'm excited to work alongside professionals who work to shape the sounds and music on television,” said Dornan. “I'm especially interested in how music evolves from the initial concept to the final mix and am looking forward to using my academic skills in this new elevated environment.

“I hope that the beginning of my career involves scoring for multiple genres and styles of media, including live TV, podcasts, theme parks and more,” continued Dornan. “Ultimately, my long-term career goal is to score major motion pictures and television series.”

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Dornan attended Lincoln High School in Portland.
