'Aggressive' Coyote Spotted In Cheltenham
Cheltenham Police are warning residents above an "aggressive" coyote after receiving multiple reports on Friday.
CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Cheltenham Township Police Department is warning residents above an "aggressive" coyote.
Police said they received multiple reports of an aggressive coyote in the township's Wyncote section.
Police said the coyote was spotted in the area of Curtis Park, Hopeland Road, Washington Lane, and Rock Creek Drive.

The area was searched by police officers including the use of drones and the coyote was unable to be located.
The PA Game Commission is aware of the coyote sightings and will be sending officers to survey the area.

If you see the coyote, do not approach it, and please call 911 immediately. Additionally, if you live in the area and have small domestic animals, it is recommended that they be kept indoors.
