Haywood Wins Contested Democratic Primary Senate Race: Unofficial 2026 Election Results
Incumbent State Sen. Art Haywood will now face Republican Aurora Stuski in the November general election.
EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Incumbent State Sen. Art Haywood on Tuesday night declared victory in the contested Democratic Primary race in Pennsylvania’s 4th Senate District.
Haywood had 86 percent of the vote while his opponent, Mike Cogbill of Philadelphia had 14 percent.

Haywood will now face Republican Aurora Stuski in the November general election.
The 69-year-old politician had not seen a primary challenger since he first ran for state Senate in 2014.
