Man Charged In Cheltenham Store Gunpoint Robbery
Cheltenham Police are seeking a second suspect in the robbery at the Dollar General on Sept. 14.
CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia man is in custody and another suspect is wanted in the armed gunpoint robbery of the Dollar General on Sept. 14, police said.
Russell Mason-Watts, 32, of Philadelphia, faces multiple charges in both Philadelphia and Montgomery counties for a series of robberies.
He was arrested on Friday, and a firearm and evidence linking the suspect to these robberies were recovered.

The second suspect remains at large.
Police describe him as a black man with a heavy build who was wearing a black surgical mask, grey hoodie with black writing on the chest, black pants, and white shoes.

Police said the gunpoint robbery occurred at the Dollar General at 45 West Cheltenham Avenue.
The victim reported that two suspects entered the business, as one displayed a silver handgun, and demanded cash from the register.
