Person Killed By SEPTA Train In Eastern Montco
SEPTA officials said the fatal incident took place just after 11 a.m. at the Elkins Park Station.
ELKINS PARK, PA — A person was killed after being struck by a SEPTA train on Friday morning, officials said.
SEPTA Spokesman John Golden said that just after 11 a.m. on Friday, an inbound Lansdale/Doylestown Line train struck a person in the track area near Elkins Park Station.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene, Golden said.

There are no physical injuries reported to customers or SEPTA employees.
Passengers were told to board all trains on the outbound platforms at Melrose and Elkins Park Stations.
