3 Stores Evacuated For Gas Leak In Ardmore

ARDMORE, PA — Three stores were evacuated Friday during a gas leak at Ardmore's Suburban Square, officials said.

The gas leak was reported at 1:14 p.m. in front of the Faherty clothing store on Coulter Avenue.

Ardmore firefighters evacuated three stores, closed the street, controlled the leak and ventilated underground.

The situation was declared under control in an hour, officials said.

PECO continued making repairs on-scene.
