Ardmore Day To Celebrate Pivotal Milestone With Expanded Festivities, Family Fun
One of Ardmore's largest community gatherings is coming up. Here's what's happening at the free day of family fun.
ARDMORE, PA — Ardmore Day will return this month with live entertainment, family activities, a classic car show and more as the Ardmore Business Association marks its 75th anniversary.
The free community celebration is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Downtown Ardmore, with Schauffele Plaza serving as the event's main hub.
Ardmore Day began as an open house in 2019 and has since grown into a community-wide event designed to draw visitors throughout the downtown business district.

FOX 29's Bob Kelly is scheduled to make an appearance, along with Philadelphia Eagles mascot Swoop and Eagles cheerleaders. Local musicians from Meridee Winter's School of Music are also expected to perform.
Other attractions will include a trackless train, bumper cars, face painting, caricatures, food vendors, live entertainment and sidewalk sales at Ardmore businesses.
The celebration comes as the Ardmore Business Association, which hosts the annual celebration, marks 75 years. Founded in 1951, the volunteer organization advocates for the local business community and works to enhance Ardmore's commercial landscape.
