Ardmore Memorial Day Parade Returns: Here's The Schedule

The decades-long tradition returns to the streets of Ardmore.

ARDMORE, PA — The Ardmore Memorial Day Parade, a local tradition for decades, is returning Monday to honor U.S. servicemembers who died in the line of duty.

Veterans from all service branches and their families are invited to participate in the commemoration. They're also encouraged to submit the names of those who served to be remembered as part of the commemoration.

Here's the schedule for Memorial Day:

  • 9:30 a.m.: concert of patriotic music by the Merion Concert Band (Township Administration Building)
  • 10:30 a.m.: parade down Lancaster Avenue from Greenfield Avenue to St. Paul’s Cemetery
  • 11:30 a.m.: wreath-laying ceremony at St. Paul’s Cemetery (Argyle Road entrance)

The Lower Merion Memorial Day Committee is also seeking donations, which are tax-deductible, according to the organization. Click here for more info on donating.
