Kitten Fosters Needed By Women's Animal Center

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Women's Animal Center is seeking fosters to care for bottle-feeding newborns to less than 6-week-old kittens.

No experience or existing supplies are needed.

The Center’s shelter staff will teach foster volunteers all they need to know and provide kitten care supplies to help fosters care for the kittens in their homes until they are ready to be adopted from Women’s Animal Center.

"While fostering is a temporary commitment, it truly is a lifesaving one," Women's Animal Center said. "Foster parents are essential for young kittens who are too young, small, and fragile to survive without the attention, support, and compassionate care of dedicated volunteers. Fostering a shelter animal is a wonderfully rewarding experience, but is also a serious commitment. The community’s help can make a big difference in these little ones’ lives."

Interested fosters must live within 20 miles of Women’s Animal Center at 3839 Richlieu Road.

If you can’t foster but know someone who would be a good fit, the Center is asking for the community to spread the word about this important lifesaving need.
