School Lane Charter School To Begin New Year

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — For students at the School Lane Charter School's two campuses, summer is practically over.

The school is getting a jump on the 2026-2027 school year by starting classes at 7:45 a.m. on Monday. Many school districts will begin the following Monday.

The school year also marks the 10th anniversary of the School Lane’s International Baccalaureate Campus on Tillman Drive.

The charter school has two campuses: IB Campus (Grades 7-12) at 3350 Tillman Drive, and the Elementary Campus (Grades K-6) at 2400 Bristol Pike.

“The first day of school is always one of the most adventurous mornings of the year at School Lane,” said SLCS Deputy CEO Jim Munizza. “There is genuine excitement in welcoming back returning students, greeting new families, and watching our seniors begin their countdown to graduation."
