Annual Japanese Fall Harvest Festival.
Aki Matsuri is a traditional fall festival in Japan that is centered around giving thanks for the harvest and wishing for good fortune for the future.
The event will include activities for all ages, including several “Make-and-Take” exhibits where guests can learn how to do Origami, make mini Chochin Lanterns, Koinobori Fish Flag Making, and Uchiwa Fans. There will also be traditional Japanese games for kids and adults, including YoYo Tsuri Balloon Fishing and a Toy Fishing game.&nbsp;On the main stage, throughout the afternoon there will be Taiko Drumming, traditional Japanese Bon music and dancing, as well as Karaoke, and a Cosplay contest. Japanese food offerings will be brought to you by Maido!, as well as Oiishi Shushi and Ramen, and Matcha Café Maiko.ADMISSION IS $10, Children 12 and Under are Free; Activities such as the Make-and-Take, children’s games, and food are pay-as-you-go.

Two piano concertos performed by the Maestro on St. Katharine’s superb Bösendorfer Grand Piano (while conducting from the keyboard) complete this spectacular program. 33 Years and Still Going Strong – The Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza Returns to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center September 17 – 20, 2026Oaks, PA – Mancuso Show Management is proud to present the 33rd annual Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza. The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center will host this spectacular event September 17 - September 20, 2026 featuring over 1000 works of textile art. Additionally, the festival offers vendors, hands on workshops, lectures, a fashion show and product demos. Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza is the center of it all for quilt, wearable and textile art! A highlight of this year’s event is a special exhibition by 7-time Tony Award-winning actor and playwright Harvey Fierstein. Best known for writing La Cage aux Folles and Kinky Boots and starring as Edna in Hairspray, Harvey has been making quilts for more than 30 years. During the COVID lockdown, his passion for quilting flourished, inspiring a remarkable collection of quilt art that the Extravaganza is thrilled to premiere. In addition, the festival will display over 30 special exhibitions from regional guilds such as the Philadelphia Modern Quilt Guild, PieceMakers Quilters and the Sankofa Artisans, travelling quilt collections and the annual national judged competition. Once again Mancuso Show Management sponsored the juried exhibition, Celebration of Women: A Quilter’s Perspective with a portion of the entry fees going to A Woman’s Place (AWP), the only domestic violence community benefit organization in Bucks County, PA. Shopping is a must at the event Merchant’s Mall with a diverse assortment of vendors selling sewing machines, fabric, wool, clothing, notions and more. Attendees can sit in on, at no additional charge, several midday lectures and product demonstrations. Back by popular demand are Fashion Friday, an attendee-driven fashion show, and Sticker Saturday, where collecting stickers can earn you a prize. New this year, the Brandywine Rug Hooking Guild will offer rug hooking demonstrations throughout the event. Quilters and textile artists can also preregister for workshops taught by a nationally recognized faculty. Located at 303 West Lancaster Ave, Suite 2C (above The UPS Store), the office will be open weekly on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
