The 26th annual Peace Fair features over 80 tables of local crafts, artwork, traditional and vegetarian food, kids games, and Bucks area non-profits whose focus is peace, community service, healthy living and the environment. Browse the gently-used book sale and listen to the Tookany Creek bluegrass band, Mindy Murray and Kevin McCloskey from River Drivers, and singer/songwriters Jonathan Sprout and Paige Melton, among others. Hear this year's Bucks County Poet Laureate Madeline Marriott and other area poets at the Poetry Reading (open mike at the end), and tour the recently restored Buckingham Quaker Meetinghouse, a National Landmark. The fair runs from 10:30am to 4:00pm on Saturday, September 26, and is handicap accessible. Admission and parking are free to the public, ($5 suggested donation). Visitors from toddlers to seniors will enjoy a delightful, engaging and uplifting day at the Peace Fair.

VAMPA Vampire & Paranormal Museum

Bucks County is a great place to enjoy “Spooky Season” and on Saturday, September 26, we’re kicking it off with Books! Lore and literature meet at the first-ever VAMPIRE’S LIBRARY Horror Book Fair, held on the grounds of VAMPA Vampire and Paranormal Museum in Doylestown.

The free-to-enter event will include some of the finest horror authors in Pennsylvania and surrounding areas, selling and signing their terrifying tomes to help readers and horror fans build the perfect To Be Read pile for the Halloween season.

Award-winning author Gwendolyn Kiste will be premiering her brand-new book, In These Gilded, Ghostly Hearts, and recent Bram Stoker Award winner A.C. Wise will have copies of her new novel, Ballad of the Bone Road. There will be scary stories for all ages, as Young Adult author of A Misfortune of Lake Monsters, Nicole N. Wolverton will be there and Middle Grade author of The Haunting of Bellington Cottage, Laura Parnum.

Other authors LCW Allingham, Jeremiah Dylan Cook, William J. Donahue, River Eno, Lauren A. Forry, Amanda Headlee, Theo Hill, TT Madden, and R.B. Shifman. In addition, horror publishers Agita Publishing, Dracula Beyond Stoker, Speculation Publications, and Book Worms Zine will have their creepy catalogues available. 

Live readings will be held within the on-site Vampire Sanctuary throughout the day so you will have the opportunity to sample some of the terrifying tales available at the festival and meet your new favorite author

While you’re there, you can purchase a ticket for a self-guided tour through the infamous VAMPA Museum, curated by Ed Crimi and his terrifying team.

The Vampire’s Library Horror Book Fair will take place at the Vampa Paranormal and Vampire Museum, 3686 US-202, Doylestown, Pennsylvania, on Saturday September 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. You don’t want to miss this frighteningly unique opportunity to find your new favorite horror book and get it signed by the author.

Autumn officially arrives in Bucks County this weekend with the opening of the 97th Juried Art Show at Phillips’ Mill, September 26 through November 1, 2026.
 This historic art show continues the tradition of its esteemed 
founders, Pennsylvania Impressionists William Lathrop, Daniel Garber, 
Edward Redfield, Fern Coppedge, and their New Hope School colleagues. With nearly 400 works on display, the 
show features an impressive array of fine art by over 200 regional 
artists.
Artists will be on hand to greet visitors and discuss their work throughout the show. Be sure to check the Mill’s website at <a href="https://phillipsmill.org" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">phillipsmill.org</a>
for the “Meet the Artists” schedule to find out when your favorite artists will be at the Mill.
Located on scenic River Road just north of New Hope, the show

Mill gallery is open daily from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. It can also be viewed online.

Nature Play activities and crafts will be offered throughout the Preserve's walking trails and exhibits, including favorite locales like the New Pond, Sycamore Hollows and Storybook Trail. Please note that most activities are designed for children 12 and under.Our main stage at the Stone Bridge will feature live music, a woodland dance party, storytime and an interactive program from Aark Wildlife Education Center. Our Visitor Center parking lot will feature 2 food trucks with savory and sweet menu options for purchase, family picnic seating and fun activities like face painting. Our Twinleaf Book &amp; Gift Shop will feature family-friendly books, T-shirts and nature-inspired goodies to peruse.Our
