Community 'Shares The Love' At Penn Medicine Doylestown Health
Messages of gratitude, kindness, and connection are filling the halls during the month of February at Doylestown Hospital.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — In the spirit of connection and community, Penn Medicine Doylestown Health is celebrating February with a month-long “Share the Love” initiative, inviting staff, patients, visitors, and community members to celebrate the people and experiences that make Doylestown Health exceptional.
Participants were encouraged to write a message of gratitude, appreciation, or encouragement on specially provided heart‑shaped cards. These messages, recognizing meaningful care experiences, dedicated colleagues, or simple acts of kindness, are now displayed on the windows leading through to the Pavilion on the Doylestown Hospital campus, creating a vibrant visual tribute to the power of compassion in healthcare.

Many of the submitted hearts highlight personal moments of connection that left a lasting impact. One card, addressed to the night-shift staff, reads: “Thank you for being team players and for helping out when dayshift is short, and for being appreciative when we help out when your shift is short!”
Some messages celebrate exemplary clinical care, including a heartfelt note to a beloved physician: “Dear Dr. Syamala, the way you treat your patients with great care is unmatched. You are very kind to always put others first. You are very passionate about your job, and you make sure everyone is treated amazingly. You work very hard and have an amazing dress-style! Hope you have a great Valentine’s Day!”

Others acknowledged the small but meaningful moments that shape the patient experience each day. One family member shared a note of appreciation for a member of the food services team: “To Talon: Thank you for your pleasant and helpful manner in taking my husband’s meal order.”
According to the hospital, the “Share the Love” display will remain through February, symbolizing the shared commitment of the hospital staff, patients, families, and neighbors who support Doylestown Health’s mission every day.
