Doylestown's 1st Rooftop Bar And Lounge Set To Open
Located at one of the highest points in town, the new rooftop bar at the Main Street Marketplace will boast expansive southern views.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — in just a few short weeks, Doylestown will be drinking in the views from the town's first rooftop bar.
Boasting one-of-a-kind scenic views, the new bar and lounge will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, June 19 at Main Street Sport & Social located on the second and third floors of the Main Street Marketplace.
Owner Will Wister is planning a grand opening that will extend throughout the weekend with drink specials, live music and giveaways.

“We’re very excited to welcome everyone to come and experience the rooftop for themselves,” said Wister. “We think it’s going to become one of the most unique social destinations in the area. This project was about creating an experience, whether guests are meeting with friends after work or celebrating special occasions or watching a big sports game, the rooftop offers something that hasn’t been available in the area.”
The new bar extends out from the third floor of the marketplace, transforming 2700 square feet of space into a rooftop bar and lounge area with private cabanas, TVs, firepits, comfortable seating, along with heaters and fans to offer comfort on those marginal days and nights.

The rooftop bar is the newest addition at Main Street Sport & Social, the brainchild of Wister, a Doylestown native and Central Bucks West graduate who had a vision three years ago to create a unique, one stop entertainment venue in the heart of Doylestown.

His first venture was Main Street Swing, a state-of-the-art four-bay golf simulator which he opened three years ago to incredible success. He followed that up with the addition of Bucks County's first Duckpin Bowling Alley and a nine-hole indoor mini-golf course. And last year, he added a third floor bar area.
"We're now pumped to share the newest addition to the Main Street Sport & Social family," said Wister. "The Rooftop Bar will be Doyletown's newest, premier destination for you to enjoy craft cocktails, local beer and wine, and live entertainment."
Located at one of the highest points in town, Wister said the new rooftop bar will boast expansive southern views, including the skyline of Philadelphia and the Roxborough towers, visible on the clearest of days.
"The views are incredible," said Wister. "It goes along with our theme of bringing what feels like the city into Doylestown. The new rooftop bar will blend luxury, elegance and at the same time offer a comfortable approach. It @will definitely have a sophistication to it" with contemporary architecture, ambient lighting and lush greenery setting the tone, he said.
"It will be something never seen in this town," said Wister. "But at the same time, it's going to be welcoming."
Like the third-floor bar, the new rooftop bar will be offering locally crafted, Pennsylvania-only wine, beer and spirits, including the 1675 craft beer label.
Food will be available to order exclusively through partnership agreements with Villa Capri and the Side Bar. “You’ll be able to sit out here, order food, and it will be delivered right to you,” said Wister.
The new space will boast a seating capacity of 200 and will be available for both smaller and larger gatherings.
Wister is planning a number of special events to activate the new space, including a high end dining series spotlighting chefs who will be whipping up multi-course menus. He’s also planning cigar and whiskey nights and yoga sessions.
“This sophisticated addition marks a bold step forward in redefining Doylestown’s entertainment scene,” said Wister. “We designed the rooftop as a place to bring people together - locals, tourists, and professionals alike.”
Adds Wister, “It’s also going to be a place of unmatched atmosphere and service. You’re going to get elevated service here. You’re going to have unforgettable memories. And you’re going to enjoy top-tier guest services. It is going to blend the best of all worlds. When you come here, you know you’re going to have a good time.”
