Kin Partners With Chalfont Counseling Center To Expand Remote Services
The collaboration, as part of Kin's Remote Care Program, will bring free therapy to the Bucks County cancer community.

BUCKINGHAM, PA — The Kin Wellness and Support Center in Buckingham is partnering with the highly-regarded Center for Neuropsychology & Counseling in Chalfont to bring counseling services and therapy support to its cancer patients.
Through Kin’s Remote Care Program, the center will offer Kin guests up to 12 visits of free counseling sessions. The opportunity was brokered by Kin’s in-house therapist, Dr. Mary Brownsberger, who has had an extensive career most recently at The Good Shepard Rehabilitation Network, leading the department of Rehabilitation Neuropsychologists.
“I am so pleased to be able to facilitate this partnership and bring several skilled providers at The Center to offer free counseling services to Kin guests, which will more than double Kin’s current capacity to meet the need," said Dr. Brownsberger, PsyD, ABPP. "For this high-end, high-quality, and very busy practice to set aside time to serve Kin guests speaks volumes about how they value community, and their strong commitment to serve those in need."

She continued, "This partnership expands the non-profit’s mantra of ‘By the Community, For the Community’. I hope this model inspires other local business and private practices to follow The Center’s lead. There is such a high demand for counseling services for those impacted by cancer; any donated service, large or small, can make a huge difference.”
