Make Family Memories - Fall Fun Days Begin at Gasper Home & Garden Center
Scarecrow making – Pumpkin painting – and Mums galore

Can you believe it? It’s almost Fall – and we are ready! The Gasper Scarecrow Making and Pumpkin Painting Workshops begin Saturday, September 26 at our Richboro location. What a great way to start a family tradition and make memories for years to come.
Gasper’s talented team of artisans will be on hand to guide the young creatives as they craft their scarecrows and paint their pumpkins with their family and friends. Pumpkin Painting activity fee is $10 per child and includes 1 pumpkin, paint and decorations.
For Scarecrow Making, Gasper provides straw, twine and safety pins to create the scarecrow. Be sure to bring old clothes to dress your scarecrow in style and bring your character to life! Scarecrow Making activity fee is $8.00 per scarecrow. Stakes are available for $5.00 each, small size, or $6.00 each for a large one. Scarecrow hats are $6.00 each. Remember Fall temperatures can be chilly and unpredictable. We recommend dressing in layers and wearing sturdy shoes with covered toes.
Scarecrow Making and Pumpkin Painting Workshops will be held from 11 am to 3 pm on:
Saturday, September 26
Saturday, October 3
Saturday, October 10
Saturday, October 17
In case of rain, the workshop will be held the following Sunday.
Following the afternoon craft activities, wander through the greenhouse and take in the extraordinary sight of all the mums that Gasper has to offer — sizes ranging from 4-inch pots to jumbo sizes in a myriad of colors that will turn your home and landscape into a garden kaleidoscope for the eyes.
Stroll through the garden center and its pathways to view, judge and vote for your favorite Gasper employee-made Scarecrow. This annual tradition brings out the competitive creative spirit within our associates who each year try to outdo the previous year’s entries and winners.
Gasper Home & Garden Center is a great place to snap some Autumn family photos. Whether you use the photo cut-outs in the Pond Park or take some family shots around Gasper’s colorful display of annuals, Fall décor, and harvest theme motifs, you will have spent a day creating a lifetime of moments to treasure with your family.
