New Orleans-Inspired Seafood Boil Coming To Doylestown Restaurant
"Boil & Brass" will feature live music by a Philadelphia brass band and a menu featuring a 1 1/2 pound serving of gulf shrimp and blue crab.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Maxwell's On Main (MOM's) shakes up the typical Oktoberfest offerings with a traditional New Orleans-inspired seafood boil, southern cocktails, and a brass band.
The afternoon festivities called "Boil & Brass" kick off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. Advanced tickets are strongly encouraged by the restaurant and include a 1 1/2 pound serving of gulf shrimp, andouille sausage, corn, and potatoes (with an addition of blue crab for $18), a complimentary southern-inspired dessert, and a show.
Philadelphia-based brass band, Street Beans, add heaps of extra spice to the festivities.

"There's nothing better than sharing great food and music with the entire neighborhood," says Nathan Hugill, co-owner of Maxwell's On Main. He continues, "This something we've been wanting to do for a long time, and we hope to turn it into a new tradition."
The event also pays tribute to part of Executive Chef Robert Marchesano's extensive background. Though he started cooking with his grandmother in Brooklyn when he was 6 years old, he's been working in kitchens since he was 16. His first "real" kitchen job was in New Orleans after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America.
