Nor'easter Forces Cancellation Of Warrington Day, Fishing Derby

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Due to the impending Nor'easter, Warrington Community Day and the Fishing Derby scheduled for Saturday have been cancelled.

"This was not a decision made lightly," the township posted on Facebook. "After extensive discussion with our emergency services department and careful consideration of the forecast and event conditions, we ultimately determined that canceling is the safest decision for everyone involved. The safety of our community, participants, vendors, staff, and volunteers will always be our top priority."

The township added, "We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, vendors, and community for the time, support and enthusiasm that went into planning this year’s events. While we are disappointed that we won’t be able to celebrate together this weekend, we are already looking forward to making Warrington Community Day 2027 one to remember."
