Record-Breaking 61 Students Named To National Technical Honor Society At MBIT

The mission of the NTHS is to advocate for and empower students to pursue the skills needed to build their careers and the global workforce.

JAMISON, PA — The Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT) Chapter of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) inducted another record-breaking 61 new student members. The mission of the NTHS is to advocate for and empower all students to pursue the skills needed to build their careers and the global workforce.

This year’s honorary inductee, former MBIT Director Kathryn Strouse, shared: “The induction of these students into the National Technical Honor Society reflects their dedication and excellence in career and technical education. Middle Bucks Institute of Technology continues to inspire students to turn passion into purpose, and I am confident they will make meaningful contributions to their fields.”

The 2026 class of inductees breaks the record set by last year’s class, a reflection of the growing popularity and depth of experience provided through career and technical education.

“Our students continue to raise the bar as we celebrate yet another record-breaking class of National Technical Honor Society inductees at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology,” said Dr. Mark Covelle, Administrative Director. “To surpass last year’s record is a testament not only to the incredible work ethic and achievement of our students, but also to the growing
momentum and impact of career and technical education. The future of workforce development is bright, and these students represent the next generation of skilled, driven professionals.”

Society membership is a significant achievement, the highest award of excellence in workforce education in America. To qualify for nomination at MBIT, students must be nominated by a professional staff member, maintain an “A” average in his/her technical area, maintain a 3.4 average or better in all academic areas, be a 200 level student or higher, exhibit exemplary character and leadership, plan to pursue a career or college major in their technical field of study, and have demonstrated community service experiences.
