Roxy™ Therapy Dogs' Golf Outing Ready to Tee Off for Bucks County's Children
Golf Outing to Benefit Roxy on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Commonwealth National Golf Club in Horsham.

Roxy™ Therapy Dogs, an all-volunteer nonprofit that provides comfort, support, and enhanced learning experiences for children throughout Bucks County, will hold a Golf Outing to Benefit Roxy on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Commonwealth National Golf Club in Horsham. The event is a fundraiser for the twenty-year-old nonprofit, with proceeds supporting programs that reach thousands of children across Bucks County each week.
The outing takes place on the Arnold Palmer-designed championship course at 250 Babylon Road. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m., followed by a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start in a scramble format and a buffet lunch and awards in the clubhouse. Entry includes eighteen holes, cart fees, on-course contests, lunch, and awards.
Currently, Roxy has 80+ dog/handler teams who visit 125 classes each week in the Central Bucks School District in addition to comforting children at the Bucks County Courthouse, universities, events, and pediatric healthcare facilities. Additionally, Roxy™ Responders teams respond to traumatic events affecting children. Volunteers positively impact thousands of children per week.

"Thank you to everyone who’s registered so far and to our sponsors. For twenty years, our volunteers and their dogs have shown up for children on some of their hardest days," said Sharon Fleck, president of Roxy Therapy Dogs. "The need keeps growing, and we never want to have to say no to a child in need. Support from our community on a day like this is what lets us keep saying yes."
Sponsorship opportunities remain available, from $200 tee sponsorships to a $1,500 registration sponsorship that includes golf and recognition at the event.
