School of Rock Doylestown Announces Fall 2026 Performance Program Lineup

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Local musicians of all ages have a new reason to pick up an instrument this fall. School of Rock Doylestown has announced its Fall 2026 Performance Program lineup, giving students across Bucks County the chance to learn guitar, bass, drums, vocals, piano, or keyboard while rehearsing and performing in a real band.

Unlike traditional one-on-one music lessons, School of Rock's Performance Program pairs weekly private instruction with group band rehearsals led by a professional Music Director. Students build technical skill in their individual lessons, then bring it into rehearsal, where they learn to play with other musicians, read the room, and hold their own on stage. The season builds toward live shows at local venues, so every student is working toward an actual performance rather than just practicing in isolation.

"This has been an amazing experience for our daughter," one Doylestown parent said of the program. "The staff has been greatly attentive to her needs and the needs of the other students. There are wonderful teachers who provided a rich experience, lighting an even greater musical fire in the hearts of these children."

This fall's lineup covers nine show themes spanning several decades and genres:

• Beyond the Beatles — the artists The Beatles influenced
• Arena Rock — stadium anthems and soaring guitar solos
• Songwriting — original music, melody, and lyric writing
• Titans of Grunge — the sound of 1990s Seattle
• Fleetwood Mac — harmonies and classic songwriting
• Modern Metal — technical, high-precision playing
• Black Keys vs. White Stripes — garage and blues rock
• 21st Century Indie — modern alternative songwriting
• Weezer — power-pop favorites across the band's catalog

Students are placed in a show based on age, skill level, and musical interest, so both first-time performers and experienced players can find a fit. School of Rock Doylestown draws students from Doylestown, Buckingham, New Britain, Warrington, Chalfont, New Hope, Jamison, and surrounding Bucks County towns.
