Thyme & Plate Joins Coleman Farm For "Dam Good Dinner" Night In New Britain

Thyme & Plate and Coleman Farms have announced their second farm-to-table dinner, which will raise funds for the JK12 Foundation.

NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Following the success of its first collaboration, Thyme & Plate and Coleman Farms have announced their second Farm to Table Dinner, which will raise funds for the JK12 Foundation.

Tickets are now available through Coleman Farms’ website and are expected to sell out.

Thyme & Plate, a catering company with a retail sandwich shop in Carversville, and Coleman Farms have embraced a limited-run Farm to Table dinner series, where a portion of each event will benefit a local charity.

Their first dinner this past June was an overwhelming success and raised money for Kin Wellness and Support Center in Buckingham.

“This is something that we are incredibly excited about and proud of. The ability to collaborate with other businesses that
we respect, while raising money for a great cause is something that we are grateful for," said Daniel Gallo, chef and owner of Thyme & Plate. "What a great opportunity to showcase what we do best, while highlighting the beautiful property at Coleman Farms, and raising awareness for a wonderful cause.”

The evening will begin with passed appetizers outdoors, overlooking the sunset, and will include items such as: Deviled Eggs, Coleman Farms Eggs, Pickled Hot Pepper Relish, Saffron Arancini, Basil Oil, Calabrian Aioli, Cucumber Bites, Persian Cucumber, Hummus, Piquillo Pepper, Feta Ricotta Toast, Grilled Zucchini & Eggplant Caponata, Carta di Musica, Bacon Wrapped Dates, Manchego, Aleppo Honey, Hot Smoked & Cider Braised Pork Belly, Red Onion Jam, Pistachio. Roasted & Chilled Shrimp Skewers, Harissa-Honey Marinade, and Citrus Yogurt.

From there, guests will move to the Barn for a 3-course meal, highlighted by a “family style” dinner highlighting seasonal flavors and Coleman’s own chicken. The event is expected to
sell out, so interested parties are encouraged to reach out asap.

Coleman Hay Farms is a fully operational farm, and for the safety and privacy of its family and animals, is not open to the public throughout the week. However, the public is invited to visit during the farm's events or scheduled pickups. Scheduled events include: Fall Fest, Countdown to Christmas, Farm Tours, Annual Auction, Highland Moo Meet and Greet, Pop-Up Events. Scheduled pickups for: Hay, straw, erosion control
products, meat (including our pasture-raised chicken and Angus beef).
