<a href="https://capitolterraces.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">The Terraces at Capitol Village</a> is celebrating the release of 'Home, anew: 250 Voices of Belonging and Community, Celebrating Our Nation's 250th Year,' a commemorative book featuring over 250 stories and reflections from residents, family and team members across&nbsp;<a href="https://mqshealth.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Marquis Health Consulting Services'</a> senior living portfolio. The book is a collection of original essays that explore themes of home, resilience and connection, emphasizing the importance of community as America celebrates its 250th birthday. Capitol invites the public to attend a book signing and release party for 'Home, anew' on Thursday, July 2 at 2 p.m. to meet the voices from this community that were selected to contribute their stories to the book. Some residents will also read their personal stories aloud.
'Home, anew' is now available for purchase on Amazon and all proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association. Kiddie Academy of Harrisburg will host Hero Play Day on Saturday, July 11 at 2 p.m. for infants to 12-year-olds. Families are invited to attend this free community event designed to help children recognize and celebrate their personal heroes.

The new hands-on event will be an opportunity for children to dress up as their favorite superhero and participate in “training” stations set up around the Academy, including obstacle courses, strength tests and kindness missions.

Refreshments will be provided.
