The Radnor Township Environmental Advisory Council and The Radnor Conservancy are sponsoring a presentation by Mike Weilbacher:

The Buzz About Bees: Pollinators in Peril

While one of every three bites of our food come to us from insect pollinators like bees, beetles and butterflies, these incredible insects are under immense threats from a variety of issues, from climate change to next-gen pesticides. In a colorful lecture, Mike introduces you to many of these amazing creatures up close, shares their extraordinary life histories, and gives you the buzz on the many ways you can help preserve our imperiled pollinators.
Mike Weilbacher, the author of Wild Philly: Explore the Amazing Nature of Philadelphia, travels the region presenting lectures and walks on many topics around nature and the environment. His Radnor lectures have included talks on microplastics and climate change in the Philadelphia area. He'll sign and sell copies of Wild Philly after the talk; the book includes 29 nature walks you can take throughout the year to see the amazing nature of Philadelphia.
Tuesday April 28, 2026 at 6 PM in the Winsor Room at the Radnor Memorial Library, 114 W Wayne Ave, Wayne, PA.
