Delco Man Fatally Struck By Multiple Vehicles In Eastern PA: Police

Investigators are determining whether alcohol played a factor in the crash.

EAST NORRITON, PA — A Delaware County man died after multiple vehicles struck him in the roadway Sunday night in Montgomery County, authorities said.

The collision happened at around 9:10 p.m. in East Norriton, near the intersection of West Germantown Pike and Whitehall Road.

A vehicle was heading eastbound on West Germantown Pike when it hit a pedestrian, later identified as a 29-year-old from Lansdowne, police said. A tractor-trailer struck the man afterward.

The victim was taken to Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released as of this writing.

Investigators are determining if alcohol impairment was a contributing factor, according to East Norriton Police.
