Delco Woman Killed In Double-Fatal Crash: Police

DEPTFORD, NJ — A Delaware County resident was among two Pennsylvania women killed in a crash Sunday night in southern New Jersey, authorities said.

At around 10:55 p.m., Ayzia J. Toledo, 22, of Bristol, was driving with Henrietta F. Carter, 22, of Darby, in the front passenger seat on Route 55 southbound in Deptford, police said.

Based on early evidence, Toledo lost control of the vehicle and drove off the left side of the road, according to State Police. The BMW then flipped over and hit a tree.

Both women died in the crash. A back-seat passenger was brought to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police didn't say what caused the crash, which happened on a night when heavy rain pushed through the area. The crash remains under investigation.
