'Best New Brewery' Award Goes To Hatboro Business
Philadelphia Magazine has honored Concordance Ferments with the award. The business opened six months ago.
HATBORO, PA — Six months after its opening, a borough business has received a major award.
Concordance Ferments, which opened at the restored 1724 Pennypack Mill in December 2025, has received the Best New Brewery Award from Philadelphia Magazine.
"We are so humbled and excited that @phillymag named us the Philadelphia magazine’s Best of Philly 2026 — Best New Brewery," its owners said in a Facebook post. "We are so thankful for everyone who has contributed so much to getting us to where we are."

The three story, roughly 8,000 square foot space combines a diverse tap list, a pairing driven restaurant program, and flexible event spaces that aim to make the historic mill a new community hub.
The business was founded by brewers Dave Sakolsky and Abe Goldstein.

"You have helped us build something so incredible, and we promise to take everything we have learned and continue to get better every single day. When Dave and I started this project, our goal was simple: we wanted to create the brewpub that we wanted to go to. We have made a ton of progress, and we hope everyone who stops in can feel that too," Goldstein said.
