Summer Programs, Projects Starting In Hatboro-Horsham Schools
Three Hatboro-Horsham schools will participate in the annual free summer breakfast and lunch program.
HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The first year of the Keith Valley Middle School is in the books.
Now that the Hatboro-Horsham School District has completed the school year, it's time for summer projects and programs, with some of those at the middle school.
At its meeting last week, the Hatboro-Horsham School Board approved construction work at Keith Valley Middle School.

The school board approved spending about $185,000 for three soil upgrades at the school property.
Meanwhile, the school district received a $161,000 credit for not needing funds to remediate soil at a dump site at the end of the new track near Meetinghouse Road.

Summer Meal Programs
The school district will operate its summer food program that offers free breakfasts and lunches to any child under age 18.
The meals will be provided at three district schools:
- Crooked Billet Elementary in Hatboro will have meals from June 22 to Aug. 21. Breakfast is from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Lunch will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Hallowell will have meals from June 29 until July 24. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., while lunch is from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Keith Valley Middle School begins meals from June 29 to July 24. Breakfast will be from 8:30 -9:30 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Summer Academy
The district’s Summer Academy will be held at the Hallowell Elementary School, while the Keith Valley Middle School will once again hold its Success Academy.
Both programs will run from June 29 to July 24.
